Isaiah "Honey Bear" Smith

Life Reflections

Isaiah Smith affectionately known as “Honey Bear” was born November 12, 1935 in Altheimer, AR to the late Lonnie Smith and Evalina Mylan.  He was reared up in love by his father and dear step-mother, Mrs. Mamie Sue Hanna Smith.

Mr. Isaiah attended Holman School in Stuttgart, Arkansas. As a young man he came acquainted with the love of his life, Joann Washington Smith. They enjoyed life together for over 51 years.   He was always a very hard working man that took good care of his family.  He worked for Moll’s Motors in Stuttgart, Arkansas for 51 years. He was especially a die-hard fan of the San Francisco 49ers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Smith; mother, Evalina Mylan, step-mother, Mamie Sue Hanna Smith and brother, Jerry Smith

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Joann Smith; son, Don Smith of Dallas, TX; daughters, Pamela Washington of North Little Rock, AR; Lorette Harris of St. Louis, MO and Michelle Smith; sisters, Mary Lee Stigger of Stuttgart, AR; and Dorothy Smith of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Rontae Ross and Mickieae Ross and great-grandchild, Lauriel White; AR; sister-in-law’s, Annette Washington of Killeen, TX and Jackie Caldwell of Stuttgart, AR; brother-in-law’s, Don (Jeraldene) Washington of Little Rock, AR and Gregory Caldwell of Stuttgart, AR alone with several nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
